Returns

Returns to The Modist are free and simple to make. If you need to send an item back, simply register your return with us within 28 days of receiving your order. Then, all that’s left to do is organise your collection.

Items should be sent back in the original, unused condition, with all The Modist and designer tags still attached. Returns that do not meet our requirements may not be accepted.

Merchandise sold during clearance (final sale markdowns) is not returnable.

Please make sure to read the product policy, before returning your items.

Returns from the Rest of the World

If your order was delivered to any country other than the United Arab Emirates, your return will be collected by our delivery partner.

Please follow the instructions below:

 
  1. Sign into your account and select the order you would like to return.
  2. If you do not have an account with us, please click ‘Order and return status’ where you can enter your order number and email.
    Alternatively, please click the link in your order confirmation email.
  3. Once you have selected the order you wish to return, please select ‘create a return’.
  4. Please tick the product(s) you wish to return and select the reason for returning, before clicking ‘next step’.
  5. You will now be able to review your return before completing the process, cancelling or amending the return.
  6. Accept the terms and conditional and click the ‘next step’ button to complete your return.
  7. You will now be given a returns case number and receive confirmation via email that your returns request has been received.
  8. Once you have received your confirmation. you can either contact the collection courier directly by calling +44 207 191 1919 or +971 512 1999 and arrange the collection at your convenience, or our Personal Service team will be happy to do this for you.
  9. Tick the items you wish to return on both returns notes.
  10. Pack the products in the original packaging, placing one returns note in the box.
  11. When the courier collects the products, please give the second returns note to them in exchange for proof of pick-up.
  12. Full amount excluding sales taxes and delivery charges will be refunded to your original payment method within 7-10 days, depending on your bank’s policies. Please note, Cash on Delivery (COD) orders will be refunded by Gift Card only and not by cash.

Returns from within the United Arab Emirates

  4. Please tick the product(s) you wish to return and select the reason for returning, before clicking ‘next step’.

  8. Once you have received your confirmation, you can arrange a collection with our collection courier directly, calling +971 512 1999, or our Personal Service team will be happy to do this for you.
  9. Tick the items you wish to return on both returns notes.

Product Policy

All items returned to The Modist must be unworn and in new and unused condition. Those that do not meet our criteria will not be refunded and will be returned to the customer.

Late returns may be accepted at our discretion.

Please ensure clothing is returned with all The Modist and designer tags attached. Take care when trying on light colours or delicate fabrics, and return items in new and unused condition.

Please return any dust bags, certificates of authenticity and boxes as these are considered to be part of the product.

Shoes should be returned without markings to the sole or shoe box.

We ensure all products that leave The Modist warehouse are in perfect condition. If you receive a damaged product, please contact our Personal Service team immediately.
